Sports Programs and Field Trips
At zera, we offer a wide range of sports activities to promote physical fitness, teamwork, and healthy lifestyles. Our sports programs take place both on and off-campus, utilizing nearby facilities to provide students with diverse opportunities for physical activity.
Outdoor Sports at the Park
We are fortunate to have access to a local park just a 1-minute drive from the school, where we conduct several outdoor sports programs. This park offers a variety of facilities, including:
- Basketball Court – Perfect for team games and individual practice.
- Running Pathway – Ideal for running, jogging, and fitness training.
- Futsal Field – A smaller, fast-paced version of soccer played with teams of five.
- Captain ball Field – For students to enjoy this fun, team-based sport.
- Playground for Younger Children – A safe and fun area where younger students can play and develop their motor skills.
Sports Community Hub
In addition to the park, we have access to a sports community hub that offers indoor sports facilities such as:
- Badminton Courts – For training, friendly matches, and competitive games.
- Netball Courts – A dedicated space for netball enthusiasts to practice and compete.
Both locations are just a 1-minute drive from the school at zera, and transport to and from these facilities will be provided by the school.
Indoor Sports Facilities
Within the school, we also have an open indoor space that is used for stretching exercises, yoga, and indoor physical activities. This space is flexible and ideal for activities such as:
- Stretching Routines
- Aerobics
- Indoor Fitness Programs
With these extensive facilities, we strive to offer a balanced sports program that caters to students of all age groups and fitness levels.
Field Trips
Field trips are organized to provide students with practical learning experiences outside the classroom, enhancing their understanding of academic concepts through real-world exposure. These excursions are carefully planned to align with the school curriculum and offer hands-on learning opportunities in various fields, such as science, history, culture, and the environment.
Field trips are scheduled according to the school's academic calendar and may vary each term based on the focus of the lessons. Parents and guardians will be notified in advance about the details of each trip, including location, objectives, and any required permissions.
