Renewal of Student Pass & Validity Period

To renew the Student Pass, students must submit the required documents according to the checklist provided by the school.

Transfer from Other School

Transfer from Other School

When an International Student withdraws from another school to join ZERA, the Student Pass that the student is holding has to be shortened by the previous Private / International School, if the Student Pass has not expired.

Before taking any action to shorten the visa, students need to seek advice from the person in charge of visas at ZERA to avoid overstaying in Malaysia. ZERA will help to apply for a new Student Pass on the behalf of the student from the Johor State Immigration Department. Student Pass is not transferable.

FAQs

Find answers to your most common questions about our admissions process.

What is the application process?

It’s simple and welcoming: get in touch and visit our campus, complete an application, and attend an assessment and interview so we can place your child in the right year group. Our admissions team guides you through every step.

What should I bring or prepare?

Your child’s IC or passport, both parents’ IC or passport, your child’s latest report card (or proof of current enrolment), a medical report if your child has any medical or special health needs, and any special educational needs reports if applicable.

What are the fees?

Our full Cambridge fee structure for 2026/2027 is published on our Fees & Tuition page — monthly and annual plans, a founding-family rate, and a 5% rebate for annual upfront payment. Fees vary by year level; our admissions team can confirm the exact figures for your child.

When does the school year start?

Our main academic intake begins in August, with additional new-term intakes in January and April. Intake availability varies by programme and year level — please contact our admissions team for current placements.

What curriculum do you offer?

The Cambridge International curriculum from Year 1 to Year 11 (ages 5–16), leading to the IGCSE — globally recognised and equivalent to the national SPM qualification. ZERA is a registered Cambridge International School and authorised exam centre (Centre No. MY486), so students sit their IGCSEs on campus. We also offer zera PLUS for children with special educational needs.
