Our Foundation
Our story begins in July 1998 with the establishment of our predecessor, the CA Christian Resource Training Centre. As the very first homeschool centre in Johor, we laid the foundation for a new kind of personalized education in the region, built on care, community, and a commitment to each student's individual journey.
Planting the Seed
In 2021, ZERA Academy was established with an initial group of 32 students. Launched during the global pandemic, we persevered through lockdowns by leveraging our ACE program and innovative online teaching methods. This period of challenge solidified our resilience and our core commitment to providing quality education, no matter the circumstances.
The Sprout of Inclusivity
Just two years later, we expanded our mission by launching zera PLUS Education, a dedicated programme for individuals with special needs. This expansion, which saw our student body grow to 90, highlighted our firm commitment to inclusive education and providing personalized support for every type of learner.
Growing into a Tree
2024 marks a significant milestone, as ZERA International School secured an expansive education hub capable of accommodating up to 650 students. With this growth, our commitment has deepened beyond imparting academic knowledge.
We are focused on cultivating well-rounded individuals who excel in their studies and, more importantly, in their character development, ready to lead with compassion and integrity.
The Vision of a Forest
Our journey is far from over. ZERA's future vision includes acquiring a landed property to build a full-scale campus with comprehensive school facilities to meet the diverse needs of our students. While we plan for this exciting future, we remain dedicated to maintaining our full operational capacity and enrichment activities at our current home in Eco Palladium.
